Thank you for coming to this page! This means that you are keen to hear more about what this book is about.

 I am so excited about this book and I hope you feel the same.   This book is about beautiful Salukis that have been rescued by Saluki Rescue Arabia and now live their best lives all over the world.  Many of these dogs have harrowing tales of torture, neglect and abandonment, but this book is about their happy ending.   It is about stunning imagery that will delight the heart of any dog lover, and 

 I have photographed many salukis and I can honestly say they are truly special, as is the woman behind Saluki Rescue Arabia, Rachel Thong,  who dedicates her time to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming these beautiful dogs all over the world.   

Because so many of these Saluki's are scattered around the globe I had the idea to reach out to my fellow professional dog photographers to collaborate on making this book together.  Not only is this an opportunity for each one of us to showcase our art whilst doing good for a wonderful and worthy cause, but it is also an opportunity to show how virtual strangers from around the world can collaborate and craft something beautiful that comes from a shared passion and love for what we do.   How fabulous is that!

This book project is not a paid gig for any of us.  All monies raised from registrations and book sales go directly to Saluki Rescue Arabia.   Invites for dog owners to have their Saluki feature in the Tails of Arabian Salukis will be sent directly from Saluki Rescue Arabia, so there is no need to source Salukis.   But, I do encourage all of you to photograph a variety of images, not only for the book, but to show the Saluki owners additional images they may want to purchase.  Add your images to your portfolio and be able to say you have been published in a book.

The photographic style and creative idea on what kind of image you want to make will be your own, but we do have some guidelines as to what the overall look and feel should be.  For example we do not want Salukis in clothes, or only close ups of they eye, tail etc.  We will provide more detailed guidelines at a later stage.
